AFL Canberra umpires train on Wednesday evenings at EPC Solar Park (Footy Park) during the football season at the following times:
- 5pm-6pm: Junior Umpire training (i.e. junior umpires who field umpire junior footy)
- 6pm-7:30pm: Senior Umpire training (i.e. Field, Boundary and Goal Umpires of all ages who umpire senior footy)
Preseason training occurs during Feburary and March on Mondays (at Mackillop College) and Wednesdays (at Reid Oval) from 6-7:30pm.
Umpires are able to follow a self-training program developed by our strength and conditioning coach, Gav Christie, during the off-season. Please email the Association if you haven't been able to find a copy in the AFL Canberra Umpiring facebook group.
