We celebrated our 4th annual Life Members Dinner at the Ainslie Footall and Social Club and it was a great night of good food and good banter with umpires from the 1660's all the way to those still running around on the grounds of Canberra today.
The purpose of this gathering is to induct those umpires who have qualified for Life Membership of the Association and it was great to have five more umpires officially being recognised in front of their peers.
We'd like to extend our thanks to Andrew Toy and Modena Appliances for being the major sponsor of this event, with a pen provided to all attendees as a memento of teh evening. Thanks also go to Danni Pring from Not Just Jerky who arranged can holders for everyone.
We look forward to seeing our Life Member cohort together again in August 2027.
